High frequency and low amplitude anomalies as those produced by kimberlites and intra-sedimentary formations, require both tight-drape and low level surveys. Moreover, in rugged terrain, the variations in the climb and descent in opposite directions create variations in the terrain clearance which generate false anomalies along the flight lines. Both lower speed and lower clearance are thus required for higher resolution.
